Olivos is a neighborhood of the Vicente López district.
The first date given the current locality of Olivos, dating from February 19 1770, is the record of the Town Council of the City of Buenos Aires and which records the first name under which it termed "Site of Olives."
During the decade of 20 and 30 is built the port and starts pa paving of the main avenues.
Olivos was head of the party until September 14, 1939, on that date the municipality was declared a city.
In 1995 completed work on the train to the coast.
